"When the change comes... I shed my sin more so than my skin."
In old werewolf legends, it was said that the lycanthrope could turn its skin inside out, and that the fur would be underneath the human dermis. Many suspected werewolves were cut open in search of this inside out fur, and supposedly was never successful.
As it turns out, a Ragarog werewolf's fur grows beneath the skin, which peels away. These werewolves lose a lot more of their human mental selves when in this state than Grahll do, but are not monsters. They behave in a rather lupine matter… and, when they shed their skin, they are suddenly supplied with a large bit of protein to sate their appetite the instant they are done shapeshifting.
Anyway, another breed of werewolf, but not my favorite. There's a lot of biodiversity in my own little fantasy world.

And it's posted on a night when there is a wahyaw suhnoyedayhenuhdo (wolf moon) in the sky. Coincidence?

::Chuckles:: Kind of. To be honest, I'd planned on posting it on the 23rd, which is a signifigant date for me. But, I got impatient, I suppose.

Just thought to add that some music to go along with this would be Metallica's Of Wolf And Man, Ozzy's Bark At The Moon and Iced Earth's Wolf

Actually, I'd think Animal I have become would suit pretty well too XD (That's my favorite werewolfy song)
