According to Wes, Fido is the representation of the vampire inside Westly Roanoke, a mishmosh of all the creatures he can become (wolf, raven, rat, cat), with a gold pendant, the fellow's soul. The creature craves blood, amongst other things... and when sated, it allows the poor vampire access to his soul.

I don't think I got him nasty looking enough... maybe I'll move this to my scrap gallery later.
